Chanel's 2013 Cruise Collection

Karl Lagerfeld unveils Chanel's suitable decadent 2013 Cruise collection at an outdoor fashion show held at The Palais de Versaille. There was more than a touch of the Marie Antoinettes in the shinily, curlicued bouclé jackets and skirts, and the ruffled white lace tiers that ran petticoat like down the side of full skirts. The hemlines, though, were distinctly modern, those grand old to-the-ankle shapes severed remorselessly short just south of the buttock, and transformed into micro-culottes.Guests at the event included Laura Neiva, Astrid Berges Frisbey, Vanessa Paradis, Ines de la Fressange and more.

My Dream Places/ Pongua Falls/Vietnam

This water fall is the most magnificent powerful one in the vicinity of Dalat. Located in a mountain range more than 50 kilometers from Dalat, Pongua water fall is as high as 40 meters. From that height water falls down to a big lake below producing great noise the echo of which can be heard far from the fall.

Quote of the Day

Perhaps they were right in putting love into books... Perhaps it could not live anywhere else.

William Faulkner

Style Icon/ Eugenie Niarchos

She's the daughter of a Greek shipping heir, the best friend of Charlotte Casiraghi, Princess of Monaco. Born in New York but spent most of her life in Paris , Eugenie is  a  leading figure on the european art, fashion, and social scene. A  front row regular at many fashion shows, style icon and from 2007 a jewelry designer , she launched the Czarina Collection in collaboration with her childhood friend Gaia Repossi.
She prefers to hide behind a veil of discretion, to play hide and seek with a smile and a light, elusive sense of humour. "At the moment", she says, "I have decided to dedicate myself to travel, to gather impressions freely and collect sensations, memories, images and cultural inspirations. I do not feel I belong to any one single place. Of Greece, the cradle of my family on the paternal side, I love the light, the idea of a living classicism, ongoing to this day, the enamel skies, the sea water woven with reflections of the sun where I go for long swims. But perhaps the city to which I am most closely linked is Paris, where I spent much of my childhood and early adolescence. When I have not been there for a while, I feel an overwhelming desire to return."

Thomas Heatherwick-The Great Mind Behind

Thomas Heatherwick describes himself as a three-dimensional designer. Considered “UK’s brightest young designer” in Icon magazine, an extraordinary selection of projects ranging from public art with England’s tallest sculpture, to a bag collection for Longchamps, a rolling footbridge and a collection about ideas for the Conran foundation, has been invented and produced by him.
His projects are diverse, innovative and breathtaking each in their own individual way.
